Gov. Mills signs biennial budget into law

AUGUSTA - The state of Maine now officially has a biennial budget.

Monday afternoon, Governor Janet Mills signed the fiscal year 2021 biennial budget into law.


The budget passed last Friday with bi-partisan support.


It includes funding for expanding healthcare, improvements to the education system, property tax relief and the state's rainy day fund.
