BANGOR – The Maine Department of Education hosted a regional summer think tank session Thursday morning in Bangor.
The session provided educators an opportunity to collaborate and share experiences that happened throughout the school year.
The goal is to reach out to school communities and hear different perspectives on what works well and what challenges are going on in school systems.
“If we can get a good sense of what has worked well and what are some of the challenges, that will be beneficial to our planning statewide so that students across the state can benefit from those,” Deputy Education Commissioner Daniel Chuhta said.
If anyone is interested in learning about the conversations, the information will be posted on the department’s website.
