SULLIVAN – Voters in RSU 24 have approved plans for a new $45 million school.
It will replace Sumner Memorial High School in Sullivan, which was built in 1952.
Officials said the new school will serve about 500 students in grades six through 12.
Residents approved the proposal by a vote of 550- 227.
Rsu 24 officials said they expect to break ground in the summer of 2020 and will move into the building in September of 2022.
