As part of their Share the Love campaign, the staff at Quirk Subaru raised more than $34,000 to help Penobscot Community Health Care, the nonprofit the operates the homeless shelter.
Over the past two years, Quirk Subaru has donated more than $70,000 to the Hope House.
The medical director at the Hope House said Wednesday's donation was one of the largest the nonprofit has received.
"Hope House is a place where people can come with whatever they have and get themselves a new life, a step in a new direction, housing, jobs. This money here will really enable us to move that forward," said Trip Gardner, medical director for PCHC's homeless healthcare services.
Gardner said the money will be used to buy computers and new mattresses for the shelter.
