Ellsworth man admits to bank robberies

BANGOR - An Ellsworth man has pleaded guilty to robbing to two Bangor banks.

Timothy Myers, 27, entered the plea Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Bangor.

 

According to court records, Myers entered a TD Bank on Dec. 2 of last year and handed a teller a note.

 

The court records indicate Myers robbed a Key Bank five days later.

 

Myers faces 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for each robbery.

 

He will be sentenced at a later date.
