CARROLL PLANTATION – A Penobscot County man is facing charges after authorities said he stole items from residences in Carroll Plantation during the last week of May.
Dennis Campbell, 43, of Carroll Plantation was arrested and charged with burglary and theft after authorities executed a search warrant at his home.
A number of items were stolen — including a handgun, ammunition, power tools, and lawn and garden equipment, according to the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff’s deputies said many, but not all, of those items, have been recovered.
Campbell is being held at Penobscot County Jail on bail that was set at $2,500.
Police said the burglaries remain under investigation and anyone with information regarding them should call 945-4636.
