PRINCETON- Firefighters from the Princeton Fire Department and 5 other towns responded to two structure fires on Main Street.

According to Princeton Fire Chief, Tony Ramsdell the call came in around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday morning.

Most crews left around 9:45 this morning, but some remained on scene most of the day.

Ramsdell said one of the homes was under construction and the other has been unoccupied for some time.

He said one of the homes is being considered a total loss, while the other one suffered significant damage.

The Indian Township Fire Department was called away from that scene on Main Street after reports of a fire at the Indian Township Food Pantry on Industrial Road came in just after 8 a.m.

When crews arrived, they said it appeared the fire had been smoldering for about 3 hours.

Officials say the building and all the food inside are a complete loss.

All 3 fires have been classified as arson.

Sgt. Joel Davis from the State Fire Marshal's Office tells us 21 year-old James Berube has been charged for the fires.
