The call came in around 4:00 p.m. for an accident at the intersection of Route 1A and Stooker Mountain Drive.
Authorities at the Hancock County Sheriff's Department tell ABC 7 & FOX 22 that William Bryant was going north on 1A, when he failed to follow a turn.
Bryant's car ended up going off the road and into a ditch before landing on its roof.
According to police, he was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
His car was the only one involved in the crash.
Bryant told police he was fatigued and fell asleep at the wheel.
Authorities believe speed was also a factor.
