Murder mystery night to be held Friday in Ellsworth

Written by

ELLSWORTH - Murder mystery lovers, listen-up. The Ellsworth Public Library has an event for you.

The library is partnering with The Grand Theatre and offering an after-hours murder mystery night on Friday at 6:30 p.m.

Event organizers say the fun-filled evening for adults and older teens will give people a chance to win prizes, be a detective and make new friends.

"I hope that people will have a chance to come into the library for a reason that they might not expect," said Abby Morrow, the library's community engagement librarian, "especially murder mystery lovers who try to figure out the mystery at home, can kind of put their detective skills to the test."

She says this is sort of a kick-off to the Grand Theatre's show "Clue the Musical," which opens in two weeks.

People will also have a chance to win tickets to the show.

Registration is encouraged. Anyone who want to sign up can call the Ellsworth Public Library, visit the Facebook page or website.
