HANCOCK – A Franklin man was seriously injured when a car pulled out in front of his motorcycle Saturday, according to Maine State Police.
Police said Wesley Corbin, 52, was driving a motorcycle with his wife as a passenger on Route 1 in Hancock. A car driven by Florence French, 76, of Hancock, pulled out from Hancock Heights mobile home park and into the path of the motorcycle.
Wesley was unable to avoid colliding with the vehicle, and both he and his wife were thrown from the motorcycle.
Police said Wesley suffered serious injuries and was flown by helicopter to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center. His wife has minor injuries.
