Fire leaves Lincoln family homeless

Written by

LINCOLN - Four people are homeless after fire destroyed their home in Lincoln Friday.

According to Lincoln's Asst. Fire Chief Rusty Burnham, crews from a number of towns were called to a 2-alarm fire at a home on Bagley Mountain Road around 1:30 Friday afternoon.

Burnham says smoke could be seen from miles away.

Nobody was home when the single-family residence caught on fire.

The building is a total loss, and the damage is so extensive Burnham says firefighters couldn't tell where it started.

The State Fire Marshal is investigating.
