State police asking public to help find stolen items

DANFORTH - Maine State Police are asking for the public's help in locating a number of items they believe were stolen from a Danforth residence.

According to a post on the Maine State Police Facebook page, the burglary happened sometime between May 1 and May 17 on Springfield Road.


Some of the stolen items include a 1959 Willys Jeep, a farm tractor, a snowmobile, a riding lawnmower and two guns.


Authorities said the items are valued at around $60,000 and that several trips were taken to remove them.
