PORTLAND – A Saco woman was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident this weekend in Portland.
Maine State Police said Diane Sprague, 42, was a passenger on the motorcycle when it overturned, after colliding with debris from a car that had struck a concrete barrier in front of them.
The car’s driver, Norman Watson of Windham, 22, had fallen asleep at the wheel while traveling in the northbound lane, according to Maine State Police.
The motorcycle’s driver has minor injuries.
The northbound lanes were closed for four hours Saturday morning.
