State Police are investigating a fatal crash in Howland Featured

HOWLAND- One man was killed and a woman was injured after a car accident around 7:30 on Saturday night.

The accident happened on I-95 southbound near mile marker 217 in Howland.

 

According to State Police the driver, 30 year-old Leslie Greenlaw, drifted into the median after losing control of the vehicle.

 

As a result, the car went down into an embankment and rolled over.

 

Her passenger, 30 year-old Ted MacArthur of Fort Fairfield was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.

 

Police said as a result MacArthur was pronounced dead at the scene.

 

Greenlaw was transported to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center where she is being treated for non-life threatening injures.

 

State troopers are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
