Police: alleged intruder went to wrong house to sell drugs

Written by

BENTON - State police are releasing more information about an attempted break-in turned drug bust in Benton.

Authorities arrested 31-year-old Tyrone Fleurimont Wednesday, after a homeowner called to report someone trying to force his way into her home.

After investigating, troopers believe the Massachusetts resident drove to Maine to sell drugs, but arrived at the wrong address on Wyman Road where he allegedly tried to break in.

Fleurimont was arrested a short distance from the residence, where police seized cocaine, fentanyl and more than $3,000 in cash.

He's been charged with criminal threatening, but police say he'll likely face more charges after the case is review by the DA's office.
