Orrington man charged with attempted murder Featured

BANGOR- According to police, a man was shot multiple times just after midnight on Sunday at the corner of Harlow and Franklin Streets.

They said 32-year-old Jordan David Bishop of Orrington has been arrested and charged with attempted murder.

 

Police told us within minutes of arriving on scene, the Patrol Division located Bishop as he was leaving a nearby building on Harlow Street. The victim was also located at the same address.

 

Paramedics from the Bangor Fire Department took the victim to a local hospital, where he remains while undergoing treatment for his injuries.

 

Neighbors say they feel police did a good job handling the situation.

 

"I was surprised that happened in downtown Bangor, but not shocked." said Brent Hawkes, who lives nearby. "I still feel safe in this neighborhood."

 

Police say more information will be available Monday.
