BANGOR – A New Hampshire man faces several charges following a fight in downtown Bangor early Thursday morning.
According to Bangor police Sgt.wade betters, 26-year-old Anthony Coronado was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, assault, disorderly conduct, and operating without a license.
Betters said, Coronado was with friends who had been admitted to a bar in Bangor, but Coronado was refused admission because he lacked i-d.
Police said when his pals left the bar, neither their car nor Coronado was anywhere to be seen.
Betters said the friends told police they saw Coronado drive by in their car.
According to a statement from police, Coronado stopped, the group started a fight, and Coronado backed his car into one of his friends.
Coronado is being held at the Penobscot County Jail, where a Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant says he’s being detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.
