Husson students hold eco-friendly craft fair

Written by

BANGOR - Husson University's Students for Climate Justice club hosted a sustainability craft fair Wednesday evening.

They displayed do-it-yourself creations they said won't harm the planet, including bees wax wrap, reusable t-shirt bags and homemade toothpaste.

The club's president said such crafts can help people reduce their carbon footprint.

"We only have one Earth. There is no Planet B. This is what we've got and we're all citizens of this Earth so it's really important for all of us to play our role in trying to protect our Earth," Kaile Kimball said.

The craft fair was one of many events happening at Husson to celebrate Earth Week.
