Fire leaves Hampden home a total loss Featured

HAMPDEN - One firefighter was injured in a fire that destroyed a Hampden home early Saturday morning.

 

According to Hampden public safety officials, crews responded to the Main Road North home around 3:15 a.m. The house is a total loss.

 

Everyone in the home made it out okay, according to Bangor fire officials. The above picture was posted on their Twitter account.

 

Neighboring departments assisted in putting out the fire, including Bangor, Carmel, Levant, Hermon, Holden, and Newburgh.

 

Hampden officials said they did not know the extent of the firefighter's injuries.

 

A cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
