BANGOR – City councilors are holding a special workshop next week to consider two possible ordinances.
One of the proposed ordinances would ban styrofoam containers for food. The other would allow domestic chickens in certain neighborhoods.
“Both of these issues, I believe, have been addressed in the past by council. They’ve just been brought up by numerous citizens, recently. Enough so that councilors have asked to have a public forum to get more information and feedback from the public,” Zeth Lundy, the city’s public information coordinator, said.
The workshop is scheduled for 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday at Bangor City Hall.
