BANGOR - Even if you're not interested in basketball, the high school tournament has something everyone enjoys.

Popcorn, hot dogs, doughboys and candy are among the snacks basketball fans can get at the Cross Insurance Center.

"A hot dog is my go-to thing," a fan said. "I know they'll probably have it."

Jennifer Faris, one of the stand leaders, estimated that her stand has been getting around 1,200 customers a day during the tournament.

"For the past few days I've been busy, busy" Faris said. "But I have a great team that's working with me."

Some fans say they strategically plan their meals and snacks during the tournament to make sure they're being cost-efficient.

"We schedule our lunches and we go out to places like Pats Pizza. We go to the Pizza Hut buffet. We go to Happy China Buffet to save a little money during the lunch rush, then we usually get dinner here," a fan told us.

Whether they strategically plan their meals or not, everyone is here to support their team.
