According to authorities, 41-year-old Rahsaan White of Brewer was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals in Tennessee.
Police say he's been charged with violating a protection order and domestic violence threatening.
The charges stem from an incident on November 26, in which White allegedly poured gasoline in a home, vented the ceilings and turned the heat on high after he had threatened to burn the home down.
Tuesday, bail for White was set at $50,000 cash.
A judge also ordered him to have no contact with the victim.
"His conduct was absolutely terrifying, and that is a major factor in why I set bail in the amount I'm setting it," said Judge William Anderson.
White's next court appearance is scheduled for April 9.
