ELLSWORTH – A man charged in the killing of a small dog last summer in Winter Harbor was back in court on Friday.
Justin Chipman of Steuben may have to go back to jail for violating his administrative release when he and Nathan Burke allegedly killed the dog.
At that time, Chipman was on administrative release after being convicted for shooting at a vehicle in 2016.
Through his attorney, Chipman admitted to violating a term of that administrative release.
Prosecutors have filed a motion to revoke his post-conviction bail. That motion was continued until March 21, which is Chipman’s next scheduled court appearance.
