STATEWIDE – The Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention is warning people about vaccine fliers they call misleading.
Authorities said they believe the flyers have been circulating around stores in southern Maine. They appear to list known side effects and look like they are from the CDC.
Officials, however, said that the flyers do not cite any specific sources and are not affiliated with the Maine CDC or the federal CDC in any way.
The director of the Maine CDC said the flyers should be disregarded.
