SnapSpace Solutions provides disaster relief Featured

BANGOR- A Brewer manufacturing company has partnered with the Federal Emergency Management Agency to help those effected by a deadly typhoon in Saipan.

SnapSpace Solutions is recycling steel shipping containers to provide disaster relief.

We were there on Saturday while they were loading one of the containers being shipped to Saipan into what people were calling the world's second largest aircraft.

SnapSpace Solution's CEO says this project has been six years in the making.

Saipan was hit by super typhoon "Yutu" last October and is still recovering.

The country is in the process of replacing schools and SnapSpace is providing restroom units compatible with the new structures.

Chad Walton hopes this is a step towards getting people in Saipan back to their regular lives.

As a result of this project, SnapSpace has grown 550 percent over the past year.

They have plans to hire 25 new full-time employees and 50 part-time employees.
