'Twinsfeather' wellness store grand opening Saturday Featured

Written by

ORRINGTON - The former owner of Spectacular Events is taking on a new adventure, opening up a wellness studio and gift shop.

Jane Arey and her twin sister Joan West decided to open up 'Twinsfeather' in Orrington.

The name is obvious because they are twins, but the feather represents mobility and the ability for the body, mind, and spirit to become one.

Joan had a holistic center in Savannah and wanted to share her knowledge with others.

Jane saw her sister's transition using Gyrotonic, a method to create strength and balance and wanted to hop on the bandwagon too.

Co-Owner Jane West said, "To have this type of strength that I feel it's truly amazing it's truly amazing so I definitely wanted to share it with the world." Co-Owner Jane Arey said, " We feel you gotta make self-care and fitness and with everybody's got busy schedules you gotta fit it in to be good to themselves."

They are celebrating their grand opening this Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM.

The store is located at 129 River Road in Orrington.

The store also offers foot and calf massages, whole body vibration therapy, and an infrared sauna.

They also sell wine, essential oils, and jewelry from local artisans.
