Sullivan woman arrested on drug trafficking charge after police stop Featured

ELLSWORTH - A Sullivan woman was arrested for trafficking drugs following a police stop in Ellsworth earlier this week.

Melissa Morse, 50, was stopped by police near the Bangor Road around 11 p.m. on Sunday.

 

Officials with the Maine State Police Department say troopers found a number of drugs during the search including heroin, crystal meth, ecstasy, suboxone, Ritalin and Subutex.

 

Morse was taken to Hancock County Jail where she is being held on $10,000 bail.

 

She is charged with unlawful trafficking of scheduled drugs and more charges are pending.
