Sled stolen from pickup truck overnight

Written by

SKOWHEGAN - One man is asking for the public's help after his sled was stolen sometime Tuesday night.

Bryan Lancaster said he was going to sell his green "Z120" sled for about $1,500.

He left it in the back of a pickup truck by his house on the corner of North Ave in Skowhegan for just one night Tuesday. By Wednesday morning, it was gone.

He said the sled has been used by his son for years.

"I'm just kind of irritated that somebody you know would come and do that," said Lancaster, who works at Lancaster Motorsports. "I mean we help people out all the time at our garage."

The police have been notified and some neighbors have security footage, but its too dark and grainy to be useful.

Lancaster said he is offering a couple hundred dollars for anyone with info that can help track down the stolen sled.

He says he can be reached on Facebook or by calling 399-8981.
