WASHINGTON - An autobody shop in Washington is a total loss after it went up in flames early Sunday morning.

It happened on Augusta road around 4:30 AM.

According to the Washington fire chief, upon arrival, the center part of the building was fully involved and the roof collapsed soon after.

He said it was burning for quite sometime before crews got there, and the cold weather mad it difficult to fight the flames.

There were no injuries and the cause is under investigation.
