The program provides gifts for children of all ages that are in need.
According to a Penquis spokesperson, the organization is still looking for donations for more than 700 children.
United Cerebral Palsy of Maine is one of the partnering organizations with this program.
"The best way for people to become involved is through our website on ChristmasisforKids.org," said Jon Smith from UCP of Maine. "You can search by male, female and age, so it's a lot more descriptive if you're on the website."
Among donations needed are cold weather items and toys.
