For the second consecutive year, Holden police officers will be committing random acts of kindness. "Last year, we would pull somebody over for speeding or an inspection sticker and maybe give them something. Instead of a ticket they would get a gift," Holden Police Chief Chris Greeley said.
"We're going to be giving away food, money and all kinds of stuff," he said. Greeley said townspeople have embraced the project and donations have been overwhelming. Not only will motorists be surprised when they are pulled over but police officers also will be delivering food and toys to Holden families in need.
