BANGOR – A Hampden woman will spend the next 18 months in prison for operating a crack house.
According the U.S. Attorney’s office, Sherri Chen, 55, allowed her Main Road home as a place where crack cocaine could be purchased and used.
During the sentencing, Federal Judge John Woodcock said Chen’s decision to allow her home to be used as a safe haven for drug dealers from Connecticut, was “deplorable.”
Court records indicate Chen used the home as a crack house from January 2016 until February 2017.
Chen entered a guilty plea to the charges earlier this year.
