Gov. LePage directs flags to half-staff to honor Bush Featured

AUGUSTA - Governor Paul LePage is reacting to the death of the 41st President, saying "America has lost an icon."

"President Bush's life and legacy of public service will be an eternal source of hope and inspiration for the people of Maine and around the world," LePage said. "America has lost a true gentle-man."

Governor LePage has directed the United States and the State of Maine flags be flown at half-staff immediately for 30 days to honor the life and memory of President George H.W. Bush.
