Man shot in hip while hunting Featured

TOPSHAM - A Sabattus man is hospitalized after being shot in the hip while hunting early Saturday morning in Topsham.

Game wardens said 25-year-old Joshua Stark was walking a power line with three others off Cathance road when his girlfriend 21-year-old Sasha Leslie slipped and fell on ice discharging her shotgun.


Stark was taken to Maine Medical Center in Portland for treatment and is expected to survive.


Game wardens continue to investigate this incident.
