FBI offering reward for info on fugitive hiding in Maine

Written by

STATEWIDE - An FBI task force is offering a $5,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest of a dangerous fugitive, who authorities believe is hiding somewhere in the state of Maine.

The FBI and police departments in southern Maine say that 26-year-old Joshua Weldon of Springvale is armed and dangerous.

Weldon was arrested in August and charged with conspiracy to distribute Fentanyl.

He violated his bail conditions, and authorities issued an arrest warrant.

Weldon managed to elude capture and is believed to be somewhere in the state with his girlfriend.

Weldon is a white male, approximately 5'10" and weighs around 255 pounds.

He has short, black hair, brown eyes and a short, brown beard.

He also has a dozen tattoos, including skulls on the back of both of his hands and the words "hope" and "less" written on the fingers of his right and left hands, respectively.

If you see Weldon, do not approach him and call 9-1-1 immediately.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts should call the FBI Boston Division at 857-386-2000.
