Shriners ready for 7th annual Feztival of Trees

Written by

BANGOR - Over the past several years, an event that has become a Bangor holiday tradition is preparing to open its doors and welcome in the Christmas season.

The 7th annual Feztival of Trees, hosted by Anah Shriners opens to the public on Thursday. Those who go will be greeted by 63 decorated and gifted trees.

All trees are donated by area businesses and each has its own special Christmas magic.

"Our business sponsors that sponsor the trees, they really are, when I say, the top. If you walk around, I'm sure the people will really enjoy and be in awe of what we have. They really are over-the-top trees," Anah Shrine Feztival of Trees Chairman Tom Seymour said.

Seymour said Santa Claus will be available for photos every hour of the Feztival. On top of that, fresh live or artificial wreathes will be sold and the Gingerbread Cafe will serve up home-cooked meals.

The Feztival of Trees dates and times can be found at or on the Anah Shrine Facebook page.
