BLUE HILL - Human remains discovered in Blue Hill on Wednesday have been identified as those of Jessica Grindle.

Maine State Police confirmed Thursday morning that the 37-year-old missing Blue Hill woman was found by a deer hunter.

Grindle's remains were found in a section of town near the last known sighting of the mother of two.

The cause of her death remains under investigation.

Family, friends and community members organized several searches for Grindle during the past couple of months.

Although she was last seen in July, Grindle was only reported missing in early August.
