Reward offered for information on Medford woman's disappearance

Written by

BANGOR - Friends and family of a missing Medford woman are now offering a $12,000 dollar reward for any information regarding her disappearance.

It's been two years since anybody saw or heard from 71-year-old Diana Estey.

Volunteers conducted a search last weekend, hoping to find any trace of the missing woman.

Estey's brother called the last two years a nightmare.

He says due to his sister's health condition, it's unlikely she just wandered off.

"I think someone came and took her. I've felt that since about a week in. It's just a feeling I got, just from being there. It didn't seem right," said Paul Estey, Diana's brother.

Paul added his sister didn't really have enemies.

Police say it's been a while since they got any concrete leads, and with the amount of time that's passed, there's a strong possibility this might turn into a recovery.

"But by all means, we want to kinda appeal to the public. Any information that is available out there that people might have, some information, no matter how small, to please come forward and we will follow up on any and all leads that come in," said Sgt. Darryl Peary of the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit North.

If you have any information regarding the disappearance of Diana Estey, contact Maine State Police.
