Body found in the woods in Blue Hill

BLUE HILL - Late Wednesday afternoon, State Police announced a body was found in the woods off the Grindleville Road in Blue Hill.

Authorities say a hunter came across the remains and notified the Maine Warden Service.

State Police and volunteers have been searching for 37-year-old Jessica Grindle of Blue Hill, who was reported missing in August.

Searchers have been scouring the area where that body was found.

The body was taken to the medical examiner's office in Augusta to be examined and identified.
