He began his Tuesday morning in Bangor before making a stop in Brewer.
Brakey spent his time shaking hands while thanking people for coming out to vote.
"It's been a huge turnout everywhere I've gone," Brakey said. "People are saying, 'well, a little bit of rain, we're Mainers. That's not gonna scare us away from the polls.'"
Brakey says he's zig-zagging across the state to hit a lot of different polling locations.
He says he's going to end the day in Lewiston, with an election watch party.
