BUCKSPORT - The town of Bucksport is set to unveil a community driven redevelopment plan for the former paper mill property.

The Eastern Maine Development Corporation and the town of Bucksport received a grant of $200,000 to come up with a plan for redevelopment of the mill site in conjunction with downtown.

Over the past two years, ideas and strategies were put into a final plan.

People get to see the design and what the site will look like, which includes a marine campus, port activity and much more.

"People are excited to see what's come of this," said Richard Rotella, Community and Economic Development Director for the town of Bucksport. "Conceptual designs get people's minds thinking."

The presentation and reception will be Wednesday, November 7 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bucksport Middle School Performing Arts Center.
