Emera Maine said their storm team had been preparing for this for several days.
Wind gust reached 55 miles per hour throughout their service territory Saturday night into Sunday morning.
Emera said they have over 70 internal and external crews in the field Saturday working to restore service.
They've also brought in additional staff to their contact center to make sure all calls can be answered from customers.
They said they've been working hard to restore power.
"Lucky thing about today is that we have good weather conditions and nice clear weather so we're hopeful that we're gonna be able to continue to make good progress in restoring service to customers," said Judy Long a spokeswoman from Emera Maine.
Long goes on to stay Emera has been working to make sure they do a better job at addressing public safety concerns since the October wind storm.
They are currently working on providing more specific estimated restoration times for customers.
