Vigil held for missing Blue Hill woman

BLUE HILL - Family and friends of a missing Blue Hill woman came together Wednesday evening for a candlelight vigil.

They gathered on her birthday in hopes that Jessica Grindle will return home.


Numerous community searches have been organized to try to find Grindle, including in the Grindleville section of Blue Hill.


Police and game wardens also have been looking for her.


Grindle went missing nearly three months ago and Wednesday was her 38th birthday.


Grindle is described as being about 5 foot 3 with blue eyes and brown hair.


She was last seen on July 24. Anyone with any information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Maine State Police at 973-3700.
