BANGOR - An iconic sight makes a surprise appearance in the skies above Bangor on Monday

The familiar light blue 747 with the words "United States of America" did a series of touch and go landings at Bangor International Airport Monday.

The large jet, known as Air Force One when President Trump is on board, caught the attention of many on social media, asking if it was indeed Air Force One.

Following the training take offs and landings, the plane called "Venus" during training flights, disappeared as quickly as the massive plane appeared.
