"Urgent" notice after man in jail for murder, robbery escapes Featured

DOVER-FOXCROFT - Police in Dover-Foxcroft issued an urgent public safety notice Thursday night, after a man in jail for murder charges escaped from prison.

According to a post on the department's Facebook page, an inmate escaped from Mountain View Correctional facility Thursday evening.

65-year-old Arnold Freeman Nash was originally in jail for robbery and murder from Hancock County.

Police say he is 5'6" and weighs 160 pounds.

He has blue eyes and sandy hair.

Nash was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white t-shirt and a light blue shirt.

If you see him, police ask that you do not approach him.

Anyone who has any information or sees Arnold Freeman Nash should contact law enforcement at 564-8021.
