Augusta police seeking Walgreens robber Featured

AUGUSTA - Officials are looking for a suspect they say held up a Walgreens in Augusta.

Police were called out for a report of a robbery just after 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the Walgreens on Memorial Circle.

 

Officials said the suspect approached the pharmacy, gave a written threat to the pharmacist and that narcotics were given to the suspect, who they said left on foot.

 

No weapon was shown and no one was hurt.

 

Officials describe the suspect as a white male believed to be in his late 20s or early 30s with a beard.
