STOCKTON SPRINGS — Three Waldo County residents were arrested for theft and drug trafficking Thursday following an investigation by the Maine State Police.
According to a press release from Maine State Police spokesperson Shannon Moss, State Police responded to a report of stolen tools and building supplies from a construction site in Stockton Springs.
The release says the investigation led to 33-year-old Joshua Pomeroy’s residence in Stockton Springs, where police found a large amount of stolen tools and building materials.
Pomeroy was arrested for receiving stolen property, theft, violation of conditions of release and criminal mischief. He was on several sets of bail conditions at the time of his arrest.
As the investigation continued, the release says police searched 40-year-old Joshua Breault’s residence in Stockton Springs where more stolen property and a large amount of drugs were also found.
Police say they found about 30 grams of heroin, 11 grams of methamphetamine and 4 grams of cocaine base and a large quantity of cash in Breault’s room.
Breault was arrested for aggravated trafficking of schedule with drugs.
45-year-old Megan Sawyer of Stockton Springs was also arrested for unlawful possession of schedule with drugs methamphetamine in connection with this investigation.
