PORTSMOUTH, New Hampshire - Police continue to investigate after shots were fired at a teen who ended up in a home because he had the wrong address for a party.

Portsmouth officers were at a traffic stop early Saturday morning when they said they heard gunshots nearby.

According to police, a resident of Summer Street called police saying an unknown male had entered their home.

Police said the caller stated that she and her partner encountered the male parked in a car on Summer Street and that her partner fired at the vehicle as it fled the area.

Detectives said their initial investigation revealed that the juvenile male intruder entered the home after receiving an invitation via a social media site but had the wrong address. Police said there were no injuries.
