Concrete truck rollover results in traffic delays but no injury

OLD TOWN - Friday morning was rough for the driver of a fully loaded cement truck.

He was trying to get onto Interstate 95 from the Old Town-Alton onramp but apparently took the corner a little too quickly and ended up rolling the truck.

"Roughly before 7 a loaded concrete truck owned by Owen J. Folson from Old Town attempted to come onto the interstate," Maine State Police Trooper Josh D'Angelo said.

"[The] driver took the corner and the vehicle rolled over. It's loaded with approximately 10 yards of concrete," the trooper said, adding that the driver was not injured and that speed might have been a factor.

The accident did block the onramp, causing delays for other drivers heading south toward Bangor.

A crane had to be brought to the scene to right the truck and get the roadway open
