Driver, passenger hurt in Hancock ATV crash

HANCOCK - The Maine Warden Service is investigating a serious ATV crash that injured two people Wednesday night.

Emergency crews were called to B & B Drive in Hancock around 8 p.m. after two people were thrown from the machine when the driver lost control and the ATV rolled over.

 

Eric Butters, 50, of Hancock was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries aboard a LifeFlight helicopter.

 

Pamela Jordan, 60, of Lamoine was also hurt and was taken by ambulance to an Ellsworth hospital before being transferred to Eastern Maine Medical Center.

 

Wardens are still trying to determine what caused the driver to lose control.
